CARRONGRANGE, an additional support needs school in Grangemouth is now open, and when Falkirk Council required flooring for this education project they turned to GERFLOR to supply 4000sq m of flooring products.
The products supplied consisted of Gerflor’s Taralay Impression Control safety flooring, together with its Tarasafe Ultra and Tarasafe Ultra H2O.
The Taralay Impression Control flooring collection is a suitable option where high volumes of footfall are expected. Available in 2m sheet format with a Group T wear rating, it’s suitable for environments where slip resistance is important. The range includes reportedly realistic woods in a range of colours and designs. Taralay Impression Control is claimed to offer a hygienic solution thanks to a UV cured PUR surface treatment for easy cleaning and maintenance. With the Protecsol Control surface treatment it’s said to be easy to clean and is 100% recyclable.
Intended for barefoot spaces where there are continuous wet areas, Tarasafe Ultra H2O also offers a shod solution.
Within Gerflor’s other Tarasafe vinyl safety flooring range there are over 80 finishes available. They are said to be reinforced with a glass fibre grid and are suitable for use in all areas of heavy traffic where slip-resistance, durability and hygienic conditions are required.
