Direct Commercial Flooring ball raises £18,000 for children’s charity

STOKE-ON-TRENT based Direct Commercial Flooring hosted a charity ball at the Double Tree by Hilton in Stoke in aid of the children’s charity Bear Force. On the night as seen on the BBC the West End Jerseys performed and, renowned Bernie Hollywood delivered an inspirational speech.

Bear Force is a charity very dear to the flooring company and for many years it has supported the charity to carry on with their work, helping more and more children all over the UK.

Direct Commercial Flooring wanted to host this special evening to raise even more donations and awareness in the local area for the charity.

‘More than 250 people attended the ball and Duncan Heath, director of DCF, would personally like to thank everyone who attended, donated and to all the sponsors – Miller Homes, Furlong Flooring, Persimmon Homes, F Ball & Co, Cormar Carpets, Unilin, Staffordshire Cricket, Countryside Home, Headlam Flooring, and Euro Carpet and Furniture.

‘The night was a great success raising more than £18,000 and the donations are still coming in and, they’re hoping to reach a total of £20,000.’

‘I’d like to thank Direct Commercial Flooring, Duncan, Richard and Naomi and all their team for a spectacular charity ball night also, to everyone else who gave so generously to support our charity Bear Force, which will help enormously to make our vision to help children and young adults to talk more openly and become more resilient with their mental health and wellbeing needs.’
