Discover Circular Design WithLouis De Poortere at Flanders Flooring Days

Known for its beautiful designs in woven carpets and rugs, Louis De Poortere is showing its wares to the world at June’s Flanders Flooring Days (FFD), 2nd – 5th June. This international event is fast becoming a must visit for UK retailers looking to discover the latest innovations, trends and designs.

Featuring in The Hub, the central gathering point within easy reach of all participating brands, Louis De Poortere will be presenting the latest designs in its 2025 Ecorugs Collection. Launched in 2023 as the brand’s drive to a circular production model, Ecorugs now uses 40% recycled content and is fully recyclable through the Take Care Programme. Ecorugs maintain the design quality and refinement that Louis De Poortere is famed for.

The 2025 Ecorugs Collection sees a range of new designs, a selection of which will be on show at Flanders Flooring Days (FFD). For this year, the hugely popular Antiquarian line sees new designs in Suzani, Tabriz, Kasak, Antalia, while Mad Men enjoys two new designs in Sol and Virgin Land. Louis De Poortere has also expanded Structures with Berber and Craft with Ribbon.

Visitors to The Hub will also be able to learn about the new outdoor qualities from Ecorugs. These new outdoor suitable rugs bring a layer of comfort to outdoor living spaces in popular designs like Mad Men’s Cracks, Griff and Jacob’s Ladder and Fading World’s Medallion. Just like all other Ecorugs they are also machine washable, so they stay looking good all year round.

Alan Russell, sales director, says; “Flanders Flooring Days is really worth the trip for retailers as the region is at the heart of Belgium’s historic carpet and flooring manufacturing industry. Our space at The Hub makes it easy for you to experience our newest designs first hand, while also discovering other Belgian brands. Plus, if you would like a behind the scenes look at how we’re blending our historic weaving with an approach to product circularity, our Mouscron factory is also just a short drive away, where you would be most welcome.”
