DURING Clerkenwell Design Week Milliken’s Clerkenwell showroom at 5 Berry Street, will be host to three days of talks, debates, workshops and tours.
The main focus for Milliken’s events will be highlighting its reuse programme.
Dezeen (described as the most influential and popular architecture and design magazine in the world) will bring together an eminent panel to discuss the realities of reuse and what we can learn from other sectors.
Milliken will showcase its reuse programme with Reusefully, which is commissioned to produce a White Paper on reuse in the commercial interiors sector.
Milliken will launch its ‘Pattern Play’ floor tile collection inspired by The New Fabulous Movement. The collection was designed by Milliken’s in-house design team, led by senior designer Helen Lloyd, and is made from Milliken’s British headquarters in Wigan in northern England.
Inspired by the Pattern Play collection Milliken invites CDW guests to come and play with workshops led by well-known creatives Supermundane, a British artist and designer known for his vibrant, geometric artworks.
His work often features bold colours and intricate patterns, creating visually striking pieces that have been exhibited internationally and Suzanne Carpenter, a co-founder of Patternistas, a design studio based in Cardiff, known for creating vibrant, bold, and intricate patterns.
