Installers affiliated with a national retailer are taking part in the Moduleo LayRed Master Installer programme at the Academy for Excellence in Flooring and will be holders of the prestigious badge.
Over two-days, the installers are subjected to an intensive professional training course that test skills and ensure they are up to the task of installing Moduleo LayRed engineered vinyl flooring to the highest standard. During the course they tackle subfloor preparation, moisture readings and test equipment, planning and setting out, templating, pattern repeats, straight, herringbone and 45-degree installation and plank replacement.

Once they’ve completed the programme, these installers are ready to offer customers a lifetime installation warranty and they enjoy free access to our technical helpline.”

Courses take place at the Academy for Excellence in Flooring, Knowsley, Liverpool. The purpose-built facility is fully equipped create the perfect training environment for novices and experienced professional alike. With six 12m2 bays, the Academy has achieved the perfect balance between course attendees and trainers, while a dedicated training room provides the right environment for theory-based learning and product tuition, with the breakout area providing a space to gather between sessions away from dedicated learning areas.
The Academy also features a special cutting room that keeps dust and noise to a minimum, allowing for a cleaner and more supportive practical learning environment. And to make sure that knowledge is shared equally among all, a dedicated demonstration zone gives ample room for everyone to get a good view.
