Malmo Flooring | Multi-width LVT for reclaimed flooring look

MALMO Flooring is offering the characterful look of reclaimed flooring through its Brada designs, part of the Malmo Senses multi-width luxury vinyl tile (LVT) collection.

Malmo Senses reportedly uses the latest registered and embossed technology where the printed design is in line with the surface texture, enabling the material to mirror the look and feel of real wood.

The Brada design comes in two colourways – Brada Storm and Brada Chestnut. Both are said to replicate the look of reclaimed wood with random plank widths and lengths, all from a single plank size of 1220x180x5.5mm.

The product is said to be compatible for use with water-piped underfloor heating and is supplied in a pack size that will cover 1.75sq m.

Malmo Flooring says its LVT is fast and easy to install thanks to the Valinge 5G click system with push down end joints to offer extra stability.

A 1mm underlay is attached and there is a thick 0.5mm wear-layer. The product comes with a 25-year domestic warranty and 10 years for light commercial applications. The Malmo LVT range is said to be hardwearing and durable, resistant to indentations, will not chip or crack and is R10 slip-resistant.

Says Gail Alcock, product director for Malmo Flooring, ‘There’s a strong design trend towards multi-width wood flooring at the moment, with consumers wanting a natural, lived-in aesthetic that has a nod to industrial chic. The Brada designs deliver a high level of realism but with all of the performance and cleaning advantages of a technical, man-made material.’

The Brada multi-width designs are part of the 12-strong Malmo Senses LVT range available for 24-48 hour delivery from IDS branches nationwide.
