A one-component, solvent-free adhesive, Mapei Ultrabond Eco S948 1K is suitable for all types of multi-layered, pre-finished wood flooring, as well as solid boards measuring up to 15cm wide. The adhesive has a silylated polymer-based formulation with very low VOC emissions. It’s suitable for installation over a variety of subfloors, including cementitious screeds, old wooden floors, ceramic, marble, terrazzo, and anhydrite screeds. It is also suitable for heated substrates and is an ideal partner for Mapei Mapecem, Mapecem Pronto, Topcem, and Topcem Pronto screeds.
The ready-to-use adhesive is easy to apply, with excellent ridge holding, and its low viscosity and free-flowing properties offer 20-30% greater yield. The formula is easy to remove from hands and pre-finished elements and is compatible with Mapei Ultracoat Oil and with Mapei Ultracoat water- based lacquers and undercoats.
Mapei Ultrabond Eco S948 1K is GEV certified as a product with a very low emission level of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) and is EMICODE EC1 Plus and Blauer Engel certified.
