Marlings launched three new carpet tile collections

MARLINGS has launched three new carpet tile collections – Contour, Structure and Form – and Loom, as a complementary range of woven vinyl tiles. Marlings says that the tiles are ‘ideal for all heavy contract settings’, from office to classrooms, and the designs bring 42 design options to Marlings’ range. All of the carpet tiles are UK manufactured and all finishes combine quality and design at an attractive price point.

The carpet tiles feature a multi-level loop pile, each defined by a distinct pattern. Contour has an organic concrete feel, ‘inspired by the natural movement of rock formations.’ Structure is a linear design comprising fine pinstripes, whilst Form is a geometric pattern that creates a layered effect. Each of the new designs is offered in the same colour palette of ten shades. They include three grey designs – Tungston, Titanium and Concrete, and three blue mixes – Marble, Lapis and Shard.

Pine and Mercury introduce red and green accents, whilst the two darkest designs, Basalt and Timber, combine grey, tan and ebony tones.

Contour, Structure and Form are made from 100% solution dyed nylon and each tile measures 50cm x 50cm. The new tiles can be laid in five different formats – Monolithic, Quarter Turn, Vertical Ashlar, Brick Ashlar and Multidirectional. Each design has a Class 33 Heavy Commercial wear rating, BREEAM Rating A/A (pending) and is castor chair rated.

Loom is offered in 12 colourways, from monochrome to vibrant lime, in ‘accent’ weave and ‘knit’ designs. The woven vinyl tiles feature an ECOPROTEC Anti-Scratch and Anti-Bacterial ceramic PU coating. Other benefits mentioned by Marlings are dimensional stability, consistent thickness and fray-proof, clean cut finishing.

The new designs are part of Marlings’ range of UK-manufactured floor finishes and TREADS stair nosings, offered from its site at Stanley Mills in Stonehouse where textiles have been manufactured since 1812.
