FOLLOWING the reported success of its ClickLux flooring collection, tile distributor, Verona, has launched what it describes as an all-encompassing portfolio of floorcoverings designed to support retailers in extending its product offering into this rapidly growing market.
‘Simplicity: AGT Natura Select Laminate’
Unlike some surface coverings which fade over time when in direct sunlight, Verona’s laminate is reportedly resistant to UV rays, meaning it can be used in any bright space, including those with roof lights and bifold doors.
The company says Simplicity is also resistant to stains, furniture abrasion, and scratches. Available in six wood-effect shades, the collection includes Radley White Elm, Tamir Silver Cedar, Parker Taupe Ash, Darcy Natural Oak, Farrell Chestnut Brown, and Angelo Vintage Walnut. Designs are available in a 190x1257x8mm format and come with a 20-year domestic guarantee.
HydroClick: Water-resistant laminate
Verona says: ‘All the benefits of laminate with added water resistance, this range is the perfect solution for water-prone areas. Its water-resistant properties mean this laminate won’t warp or expand when wet, while waterproof joints ensure water cannot seep through and gather under the surface.
‘Mirabelle Midnight Ash, Kendra Fossil Elm, Lavinia Silver Birch, Antoinette Heritage Oak, Camille Natural Oak and Talise Sandy Oak make up the wood-effect planks selection, available in a 192x1285xmm format.’
Bang on trend, wood-effect chevron and herringbone designs include Valentina Amber Oak Chevron, Caspian Caramel Oak Chevron, Bourne Silver Oak Chevron, Amias Golden Oak Herringbone, Coburn Warm Walnut Herringbone, and Isadora Silver Elder Herringbone.
The wood-effect chevron planks come in a 293.4x1184x8mm format and wood-effect herringbone planks are 293.6×1174.4x8mm.
Continues Verona: ‘Given the rise in demand for patterned tiles, tile-style planks were an obvious addition to Verona’s offering. The designs, Ripley Vintage Patchwork and Georgiana Victorian Tile, are both available in a 394×1179.3x8mm format.
‘As opposed to traditional tile, herringbone and chevron designs, there is no need to piece lots of small tiles together to create the desired effect with this range, instead the pattern is captured on larger formats.’
ClickLux SPC
The largest range in the floorcoverings portfolio, ClickLux has been extended with several new tile-style designs to sit alongside the existing wood-effect planks.
‘Featuring multiple layers that add to its strength and durability, the core component is stone polymer composite, making it waterproof and rigid. A practical alternative to other surface coverings and perfect for use in wet areas, it’s also dust-free and anti-bacterial, making it a hygienic option that is easy to clean and maintain.’
The company adds: ‘The Click Fit System is simple to install with no need for adhesive, grout, or special cutting equipment, and includes a built-in 1mm foam underlay, making installation even easier. The new additions include eight stone-effect looks with a grout effect border in a 305x610x6mm format.
