Loughton Contracts joined Protec International, Forbo Flooring Systems, Ege, Tarkett, Milliken and Havwoods to work at William Blair, 22 Bishopsgate, London

In August 2022, Loughton Contracts was commissioned by Overbury Major Projects to supply and install new floorcoverings at the London offices of Investment Services company, William Blair International. The project spanned levels 47-49 of the iconic skyscraper, 22 Bishopsgate, where Loughton Contracts has previously undertaken flooring installations on numerous floors.

The project featured a striking combination of timber in various shapes and sizes, alongside a mix of carpet tiles and broadloom products, adding to its visual appeal. Ensuring the quality of the timber flooring was crucial, considering factors such as room humidity, plank acclimatisation, and subfloor adhesion. Regular humidity tests were conducted to prevent potential issues,
resulting in a flawless final outcome.

The addition of carpet tiles complemented the extensive use of timber, enhancing the office space with variety and modern aesthetics. Loughton Contracts’ experienced fitting teams adeptly managed the installation, reflecting their familiarity with 22 Bishopsgate and setting the stage for future projects at this prestigious location.
