National design practice, Bond Bryan’s recent relocation of their head office, from the Church studio in Crookes to a new central spot in Sheffield’s city centre, included the first installation of arctic® carpet tiles.
The design of the office incorporates a reduction in energy use & higher energy efficiencies, with an imaginative re-use of an existing building, and leads the way for a more sustainable and carbon-conscious workspace. Bond Bryan’s aim to achieve their goal of becoming a Net Zero practice aligned with Burmatex® ‘s own eco2matters® principles.
The carbon neutral status of arctic® in Norse Grey provided a perfect floor covering for these offices. Fitted using IOBAC Magtabs, an adhesive free installation method compatible with Burmatex® carpet tiles, the narrative of circular economy and low carbon for this workspace was further enhanced.
The carbon neutral offer of arctic® is achieved by using Universal Fibers’ ground-breaking Thrive matter® yarn, paired with our BioBase™ backing.
