Demanding contract carpet installations have traditionally seen installers reach for heavy and difficult to handle rubber crumb underlays. But now, thanks to PowerFORCE from floorwise, there is an option that offers the same durability and double-stick performance without the weight and mess of this traditional option.
PowerFORCE is a new range of 100% post-industrial recycled PU foam underlays that floorwise has designed to excel beneath carpet installed in areas of heavy traffic. To ensure the durability and long-term recovery of this new PowerFORCE underlay, floorwise has created a brand new Mega+ density core. This is the highest-ever foam underlay density from the company, offering both the pinnacle of strength and resilience to make PowerFORCE suitable for demanding commercial environments and both stretch-fit and double-stick installations.
Yet despite its performance, PowerFORCE remains significantly lighter than an equivalent rubber crumb underlay, making it far easier to transport and handle on site. Plus, it cuts cleanly creating far less mess so making it quicker to install. floorwise has independently tested PowerFORCE to Class 33/U for both 8.0mm and 6.5mm versions and it achieves a Dfl-s1 fire rating when exposed to direct flame.
