CELLECTA, a UK acoustic and thermal insulation manufacturer, has launched its Mojave dry laid UFH system.
Says the company: ‘The system brings together a series of well-known components consisting of high-performance acoustic layers, XFLO high-compressive strength extruded polystyrene (XPS), ULTRAplate aluminium diffuser plates or foiled faced (XPS), topped off with award-winning overlay board ScreedBoard 20.’
With this system, Cellecta says it’s placed a greater emphasis on response times, lower running costs and thinner floor solutions. It adds that Mojave provides a dry, robust and reliable floor build-up from one source.
Says the company: ‘The Mojave system offers the heating and plumbing sector a one-stop-shop to source the majority of the components required, minimising the number of deliveries to manage and invoices to process.’
Lee Baxter, national sales director, says: ‘We’ve been working closely with a number of UFH projects over the past two-to-three years and with the feedback and continued support, Cellecta has heavily invested in various automated machines and production lines for the associated materials. This has enabled our manufacturing output to be sleek, in ensuring availability for distributing, while being very competitively priced.
‘With the advice and guidance of some of the leading experts we’ve been actively testing our dry UFH systems versus traditional wet methods in a UKAS accredited test chamber. Our Riba-approved heating floor treatments CPD highlights the results from these tests which have quickly become a hit with architects and specifiers over the lockdown period with more than 100 individuals attending the online seminar. The Mojave system is delivered direct to site and is backed up by a wealth of technical data and accreditation.
‘Mojave has quickly become an industry leading UFH solution, with the system being recognised at the Housebuilder Awards, winning Best Services Product at the 2020 awards.’
