Responding to demand for laminate flooring, IDS has recently introduced the Xtra Step water-resistant laminate range into its portfolio. Comprising six stylish wood effect decors in a robust 12mm thickness, the range reflects the ongoing popularity of grey with three options ranging from light through to dark tones, while the bestselling White Oak design embraces the trend for whitewashed woods. Easy-living light and mid oak options are also available, and there is a choice of three surface finishes of Linear Grain, Authentic Grain and Registered & Embossed.
Xtra Step’s hardwearing 12mm thick planks feature Aqua Protect technology for enhanced water resistance which, when coupled with the assurance of a three-year wet area warranty, ensures the flooring is suitable for installation in any environment including kitchens and bathrooms. The patented Uniclic locking system ensures fast and easy installation, making it ideal for refurb, new build and DIY projects alike.
Xtra Step is compatible with underfloor heating systems, is slip resistant and comes with colour matched accessories. It is FSC certified and is supported by a 25-year residential warranty with five-years for commercial.
BerryAlloc Ocean+ is another new addition to the IDS laminate portfolio. Featuring 100% water resistant hydro+ technology and high dimensional stability, Ocean+ offers an easy-maintenance flooring solution for both residential and commercial use. The Ocean+ collection comprises 30 natural, matt wood and lifelike stone designs, with a wide choice of modern and classic styles. The collection consists of four different plank formats including two XL options and comes with the assurance of a lifetime residential warranty and up to six years for commercial applications.

For customers who favour the warmth and beauty of real wood flooring, the Tuscan wood flooring collection offers a range of stunning surfaces and finishes to suit both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Elevating any new build or renovation project, the 38-strong Tuscan collection features engineered wood flooring with wide planked and age-distressed options and designs that span elegant oaks, fashionable greys, whitewashed woods, warm toffee tones and herringbone parquet. Tuscan includes multiply and 3-ply structures with a combination of seven textures and four surface finishes. The range includes both tongue and groove and click installation products.
All products in the Tuscan Wood Flooring Collection are compatible with water-piped underfloor heating systems, and many options are also suitable for use over electric mat systems.
