The Blackpool Tower Ballroom has undergone a major restoration for the first time in 30 years.
The three-week, £1.1m project has transformed the wooden floor back to its original state and involved experts breaking down more than 100 layers of lacquer, before the floor was sanded down and resealed.
It is made up of 30,602 individual blocks of oak, mahogany and walnut which were placed together in a design unique to the world-famous dancefloor.
