News from CONICA…
CosmoCaixa is the most important science museum in Spain and one of the most visited in Barcelona.
CONICA installation specialist and customer Pavinador and Jardineria Babilon were appointed to find a suitable surfacing solution for the path in the green house area of the museum. The green house is home to rare bird and tree species from the Amazon, along with snakes and alligators.
The requirement was for a more comfortable surface for both the wildlife and the visitors to walk on, the surface also needed to be highly permeable.
CONICA’s colour coated rubber mulch was the ideal solution and was installed in a blend of colours which look really natural and compliment the area perfectly.
The work was carried out whilst the area was open to visitors by completing it in phases, the project was completed in one week.
