Mapei says its range of installation products includes adhesives for all types of floor and tile installation. The latest Mapei UK product to join the Zero line of carbon offset products, the adhesive also benefits from a very low VOC EMICODE: EC1 Plus certified formulation.’
Mapei continues: ‘A deformable, non-slip cementitious adhesive, Keraquick S1 Zero can be used to bond onto screed, concrete, plywood overlaid floors, existing unglazed ceramics, cement-based render, gypsum plaster, plasterboard and tile backer boards. It can also be used to install various insulating materials and is suitable for interior and exterior use. Tiles can be grouted and can accept light foot traffic after just two hours and surfaces returned to full use after 24 hours.’
Adds Mapei: ‘For resilient flooring applications, front-runners include Ultrabond ECO 4 LVT – a fibre-reinforced high temperature LVT adhesive which provides exceptional adhesion and dimensional stability. Also benefitting from a very low VOC EMICODE: EC1 Plus certified formulation, Ultrabond ECO 4 LVT is a highly shear resistant, hard set, wet-bed adhesive for installation onto level, absorbent substrates and with underfloor heating.’
