QEP mixes it up at The Flooring Show

QEP is exhibiting at The Flooring Show, bringing its flooring brands to installers and retailers making their way to Yorkshire this September.

For professional installers and retailers visiting the show to find ways to make their working life easier, a visit to QEP in Hall B should be high on the list. Home to legendary Roberts tools and UK-made XPS Foam underlays, the QEP stand will reportedly be packed with the latest, greatest innovations to make your installations easier.

Says the company: ‘QEP will also showcase FENTO ergonomic knee protection, trusted by flooring professionals to reduce fatigue and improve comfort throughout the working day. Roberts will showcase its range of quality tools, trusted by installers all over the world including the brand new 18V Cordless Power Mixer, designed around the QEP CONNECT battery system.

‘Made with Roberts’ usual attention to robust quality, the mixer is made with a die-cast metal gear case and features a powerful brushless motor that can handle the heaviest of compounds.’

The company continues: ‘A two-speed gearbox and variable six speed dial allow for fine control and with soft start that gradually increases speed, splashes are significantly reduced. Comfort is maximised with a low weight of just 3.4kg and an ergonomic dual handle design that makes it easy to hold.

‘The 18V Cordless Power Mixer is compatible with QEP 18V 4.0Ah Lithium-ion batteries. With a dual set-up, these high-performance packs deliver an impressive 40-minute run time off a single charge. With new power tools already in development, the mixer marks the beginning of the QEP CONNECT battery system designed specifically for specialist flooring installation tools.

‘QEP’s stand will also be the first outing for the XPS Foam 2026 underlay range for professional installers who need a reliable, high-performance wood and laminate underlay system that’s easy to understand, recommend and install with confidence. Built to solve real onsite challenges such as floor movement, creaking, moisture protection and comfort, the XPS underlay range has been redeveloped from the ground-up. Including fanfold and rigid boards, the range features underlays made for general domestic, commercial and specialist duties such as herringbone laminate and electric underfloor heating.’

Concludes the company: ‘Making it easy to choose the right underlay, QEP has designed a wood and laminate underlay system with a clear application structure so that installers can find the right underlay for the task every time.’

Visit Roberts and XPS Foam at QEP on Stand B9 in Hall B at The Flooring Show, Harrogate between 20-22 September.
