VINYL flooring specialist Beauflor was one of the Belgian companies taking part in Flanders Flooring Days. Held in Belgium from 18-21 May, the event saw major flooring manufacturers open their showrooms in what organisers described as a ‘synergy between fairground and showroom’.
For Beauflor, the event gave visitors the opportunity to explore its Experience Centre, enjoy warm hospitality and discover the qualities of modern sheet vinyl flooring.
Guests also learned about four global design trend themes influencing its Belgian design team and benefited from a complimentary shuttle service between Kortrijk Xpo and the Experience Centre.
Michèle Bruynseels said: ‘Our collections were guided by global design trends. We used them to influence the materials, patterns, textures, colours and tones we selected. Our team translated these through our advanced digital printing technology so customers could always find the latest designs in our ranges.
‘We were excited to show what digital printing could achieve and what was influencing our current and future collections at FFD.’
One of the four themes, ‘Return to Being’, was highlighted as Beauflor explored the shift away from mass appeal and copy-paste design towards authenticity, craftsmanship and human-led creativity.
From weathered wood effects to tactile stone finishes, visitors experienced a behind-the-scenes look at the brand’s sheet vinyl collections.
The influence of other global themes — Echo Present, Still Light and Liquid Reality — was also evident throughout the Experience Centre, demonstrating how Beauflor was shaping future-focused vinyl flooring through design-led, seamless solutions focused on comfort and ease of living.
