Trade Commercial Flooring were seeking a high-quality stair nosing solution that would increase safety, without impinging on style at the new feature staircase at Dallas Burston Polo Club.

Morleys’ fast, free measuring service was used to ensure each step came cut perfectly to size, and insert was supplied loose from the channel to allow screw holes to be hidden, allowing for the cleanest, most seamless finish to each step. Technical advice was offered on the best profile, fitting solutions and insert colours to take the pressure off the contractor.

The client wanted a finish that would complement the ornate handrails, whilst still adequately contrasting with the custom-made carpet to present clear and obvious step edges for anyone using the staircase. Samples were provided of numerous profiles and finishes to ensure that bothcontractor and client were happy with the product before proceeding with production.

Ultimately, it was decided that the optimal finish for this project could be achieved by pairing a Satin Gold finish with a Beige stair nosing insert.

The results speak for themselves with the client’s original brief being realised in a stunning statement piece for the Warwickshire estate, ideal as a photo opportunity for the countless weddings and corporate functions that Dallas Burston Polo Club plays host to.
