Did you ever get into trouble at school, and if so, why?
I was a little mischievous at school, I received the cane across both hands after me and my cousin put the pants and socks of pupils from another school down air vents whilst they were in the swimming pool.
What was your first part-time job?
Never had one unless you can class golfing as a job.
What was your first full-time job?
Went straight into flooring for my dad.
What did you spend your first pay cheque on?
I went up to HMV and bought the latest CDs.
What was the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Respect is earned, not given.
What was your worst mistake?
I don’t see anything as a mistake. Situations occur in life, which pave
the way for your future.
Who would you most like to be stuck in a lift with?
Fred Couples, he could teach me his effortless golf swing.
What has been your best achievement?
My children with a little bit of help from my wife Zoe.
What car do you drive today and what does it say about you?
Ford Ranger, I don’t know – family man who can carry latex?
Tell us something about yourself nobody else knows
I love listening to hits from the ‘80s and ‘90s.
Do you have any hobbies?
Golfing and dare I say it – watching the Wolves.
What is your favourite tipple?
Mostly lager and a good real ale.

How do you relax?
Golfing or just watching TV at home.
How many times a year do you take a holiday and what is your favourite destination?
A couple of times a year. Tenerife is our favourite destination; it’s like a home-away-from-home. and where I met my wife 32 years ago.
Do you have any pets?
We have a Shih Tzu dog named Tiffany (Tyson when were out walking though). We did have a horse called Jubilee but sadly it died recently.
Which single possession would you rescue if your house caught fire?
Golf clubs.
Which one record and book would you take to a desert island?
‘How to Survive on a Deserted Island’ by Tim O’Shei and Coldplay’s greatest hits.
Any regrets?
No real regrets but I would’ve liked a few more children.
If you could be anyone (living or dead, fictional, or real) who would it be?
Luke Skywalker (but the wife still won’t buy me a lightsabre).
Do you have any unfulfilled ambitions?
I’d love to go to The Masters golf tournament.
If you could have invented any product, what would it have been?
Golf balls that go straight.
