ECOPROTEC has launched a ‘high-performance water-based grout protector’. New Wall and Floor Grout Protector is designed for cement-based grout joints and can reportedly be used in all types of stone and tile installations.
Says the company: ‘It protects joints from oil and grease-based substances, organic dirt and water. It also helps promote easy cleaning and aftercare in kitchens, bathrooms and wet-rooms, and other high traffic areas.
‘Easy to apply onto wall and floor joints, the pump spray treatment dries to create a non-film-forming protective barrier, allowing the grout to breathe. Applied onto clean, dry tiles, the Protector should be left to absorb into the grout joint and any excess solution removed with a micro-fibre cloth. The treatment should then be allowed to dry for one hour.’
The company continues: ‘For ongoing floor maintenance, ECOPROTEC recommends routine mopping with its Natural Stone & Porcelain Aftercare Cleaner and, for walls, rinse-free pH neutral Multi-purpose Cleaner.’
