THE Malmo luxury vinyl tile stickdown range, offered by IDS, is said to have captured the trend for Moroccan tiled flooring with its Kuvio Blue and Kuvio Grey designs, which are ‘perfect for maximalist interiors or to create a feature floor.’
IDS says that the product is ideal for use in hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories in place of real tiles because ‘the authentic designs’ feature a multitude of patterns interspersed with solid, plain colours.
With eight tile designs per plank of flooring and 10 different plank designs available, they offer design scope. Further, they can also be combined with wooden plank designs without the need for transition strips and trims, which offers ‘a streamlined finish that’s ideal for zoning in open plan spaces.’
Measuring 609 x 305 x 2.5mm the stickdown tiles are designed to be hardwearing, durable and easy to clean which, IDS says, ‘makes them ideal for commercial use as well as in the home.’ The flooring is part of the wider Malmo stickdown collection which includes 20 designs across its herringbone, plank and tile formats.
Malmo advises that its stickdown LVT is resistant to water and indentations, should not chip or crack, is R10 slip resistant, can be used in conservatories, comes with noise reduction features, and is suitable for use with encased water-piped underfloor heating systems.
The product comes with a warranty of 25 years for residential applications and ten years for commercial use and is available from IDS’s 18 branches nationwide for delivery within 24-48 hours.
