Staying true to their commitment to simplicity, PrimeMore Universal is designed for use on porous backgrounds and PrimeMore Grip contains a bond enhancing aggregate, making the product ideal for use on more challenging, impervious backgrounds.
‘Finally, PrimeMore CS is a specialist primer for prepared calcium sulphate/anhydrite screeds. Applied in a single coat and dry in about 60 minutes, it penetrates and seals the surface, preventing adverse reactions with subsequently applied cementitious products.’
The company continues, ‘For moisture control, One Coat DPM Fast is a 2-part, fast curing, epoxy dampproof membrane designed to tackle rising damp and suppress residual moisture. Solvent-free and available in 5kg and 10kg tins, it cures in about four-and-a-half hours and can be used on cementitious screeds up to 98% RH and calcium sulphate screeds up to 90% RH. The product is also suitable for use over underfloor heating systems.
‘Kelmore’s LevelMore range of levelling and smoothing compounds includes three 2-part products and three water-based options.
‘All are protein-free, dimensionally stable, and deliver superb flow and surface finish.
Among the two-part products, LevelMore Pro is a best-seller. This flexible, rapid-setting compound can be applied from 2–20mm in a single application and bonds excellently to a wide range of subfloors – often without the need for priming. Moisture tolerant and ready for foot traffic after 90 minutes, it allows resilient floorcoverings to be installed after just three hours.’
Adds Kelmore, ‘LevelMore Absolute 30 is an ultra-rapid setting version with the same flexibility and performance characteristics. However, this is quicker setting still and will allow foot traffic from just 30 minutes, and resilient floor coverings are able to be installed after 90 minutes – making it an excellent choice for time-sensitive projects!
LevelMore Contract, also 2-part, sets fast and can be applied from 2-12mm in a single application.
‘Designed for solid floors, including heated screeds, it can be walked on after two hours and is ready for resilient floorcoverings after six hours.’
The company continues, ‘Heading up the water-based range is the highly versatile LevelMore Flex&Fibre. This fibre-reinforced, flexible compound can be applied from 2–50mm, it offers excellent workability and can be used on a wide range of subfloors, including underfloor heating systems and plywood overlay.
‘Moisture tolerant and suitable for use under DPMs, it’s walkable in 90 minutes and ready for resilient floorcoverings after three hours. Demonstrating its true versatility, it is suitable for interior and exterior use and can be left as a wearing surface where required.
‘LevelMore Rapid 30 is an ultra-rapid setting, flexible product that can be applied from 2-30mm in a single application. Ready for foot traffic after just 30 minutes, resilient floor coverings can be fitted after 90 minutes. This product is the water-based version of the ever popular Absolute 30 and is ideal for time-sensitive projects.
‘The final water-based option, LevelMore Flow, boasts a wet edge time of 30 minutes and provides an excellent surface finish. Flow can be applied at depths of 2–25mm, its fast setting properties allow for foot traffic after two hours, and resilient floorcoverings can be installed after four hours.
‘LevelMore Flow is designed for use on solid floors, including underfloor heated screeds.
Completing Kelmore’s range of preparation products is Kelmore’s Feather and Repair Mortar.
‘Feather is an ultra-rapid drying, highly polymer-modified patching and smoothing compound. Ensuring excellent adhesion, it’s great for smoothing out any surface imperfections, including seamlessly filling and smoothing board joints and fixing points in plywood. Delivering an extremely smooth finish and is ready to receive floorcoverings in just 15 minutes.
‘Repair Mortar is equally ultra-rapid setting. Offering a non-slump consistency for application depths of 2–50mm, this moisture tolerant mortar sets hard in 30 minutes and can be covered with a levelling compound after 45 minutes, or directly with resilient floorcoverings after 90 minutes.’
