REPROTEC UK says it’s been successfully supporting Peterlee-based Walkers Snack Foods with resin flooring, liquid applied roof membranes and hygienic walling solutions since 2011.
In 2015, Reprotec was tasked with solving Walkers Snack Foods’ problem of the hard-to-maintain and widespread failing vinyl floor surfaces on raised gantry and mezzanine floor areas.

The project saw Reprotec provide Walker Snack Foods with a range of services and expertise, from problem identification to site surveying.

Reprotec carried out what it describes as thorough inspections and completed trials using various preparation methods, primers, and screeds.

The variations were tested by Walkers Snack Foods’ hygiene team and Reprotec for ease of clean, slip resistance and oil resistance and the best performing solution was chosen.
Reprotec installed Altro Flexi-flow Plus, an anti-slip and easy to maintain flooring, onto the vinyl covered mezzanine and gantry area directly above the production lines.
