WITH its self-described ready-to-apply dispersion adhesives STAUF D 5 and STAUF D 50, the adhesives specialist is offering what it says are outstanding products ‘which meet all the demands made for the laying of durable and dimensionally stable designer coverings of various types’.

STAUF D 50 is a fibre-reinforced design covering adhesive for LVT flooring.
‘It’s characterised by excellent wetting properties of flooring underside and high final strength. Owing to its stable adhesive grooving, it reduces joint formation.’

Stauf says: ‘It also has exceptional tack properties and can be loaded after about 24 hours. STAUF D 5 is a proven PVC/CV single side wet-bed adhesive offering efficient and simple laying methods, distinguished by an ideal open time and good tack. Its outstanding adhesive power and final strength reduce shrinkage and expansion of the design flooring. Both design flooring adhesives are suitable for underfloor heating as well as chair castors.’
