STYCCOBOND F44 is a solvent-free acrylic emulsion adhesive for the installation of a wide range of vinyl sheet and tile floorcoverings, as well as textile floorcoverings with PVC and polyurethane foam backings and acoustic underlay.

It’s designed to give a strong initial tack, high bond strength and a long open time. It’s said to be protected against biodegradation and is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating installations.

Says F Ball, ‘The adhesive can be applied to Stopgap smoothing compounds, structurally sound, smooth, dry subfloors of concrete and sand/cement screed, calcium sulphate screeds, plywood, flooring grade chipboard and hardboard.

‘It’s also tested to the standards of the International Marine Organisation and approved for use in marine floor installations, meaning it can be used on board cruise ships and other offshore environments.’
