An example of this can be found in the beautiful city of Stavanger, Norway, where the floor in a local sports hall has been lacquered with durable products from WOCA Denmark.
Here, Master TS Line Marking was used for line marking, while Master TS-2K Lacquer provided the floor with a durable and hardwearing finish that meets the sports hall’s high standards.
Master TS Line Marking: A water-based lacquer for line marking on lacquered wooden floors, ideal for sports halls and multi-arenas, and is available in six different RAL colours.
Master TS-2K Lacquer: A two-component floor lacquer specially developed for high-traffic areas. It protects against wear, heel marks, and scratches, while also ensuring a healthy indoor climate.
Functional solution and beautiful finish for busy sports halls
The sports hall, affiliated with a local school in Stavanger, is used for everything from intense handball training to exciting badminton matches. The project was carried out by the experienced Norwegian flooring company Sola Parkettsliperi, which has many years of expertise in floor maintenance and lacquering of sports halls. The lacquering of the floor took approximately one week to complete.
Sports halls are subject to heavy-use and require products that can withstand wear and maintain a high safety standard. Therefore, the hall’s floor not only had to be functional for sports but also had to meet the strict requirements associated with sporting events.
To ensure a result that could meet these demands, WOCA Master TS-2K Lacquer was chosen, a FIBA-approved product that provides an extra durable surface and protects against wear. This lacquer is specially developed to withstand intensive use in sports halls and other high-traffic areas.

Durable floor ready for intensive use

After the lacquering, the floor was ready to handle the daily challenges of a busy sports hall. The durable surface ensures the floor can withstand intensive use without losing its quality.
