THE Academy for Excellence in Flooring is welcoming the first group of installers through its doors to take part in the Moduleo LayRed Master Installer training and accreditation programme.

Installers affiliated with a national retailer are taking part in the Moduleo LayRed Master Installer programme at the Academy for Excellence in Flooring and will be holders of the prestigious badge.
Over two days, the installers are subjected to an intensive professional training course that tests skills and ensures they are up to the task of installing Moduleo LayRed engineered vinyl flooring to the highest standard.

During the course they tackle subfloor preparation, moisture readings and test equipment, planning and setting out, templating, pattern repeats, straight, herringbone and 45-degree installation and plank replacement.

Lee Thompson, technical and procurement manager, says: ‘We’re delighted to welcome the first Moduleo LayRed Master Installer cohorts to our Knowsley training centre to upskill and learn everything needed to ensure a first class LayRed installation.

‘Once they’ve completed the programme, these installers are ready to offer customers a lifetime installation warranty and they enjoy free access to our technical helpline.’
