V4 Wood Flooring is a family run company, with roots dating back in the flooring industry to the 1930s. Fast forward three generations later, the inherited passion and knowledge of high-quality hardwood flooring born from the Vincent family is now at the forefront of wood flooring in the UK.
With this summer marking the twentieth anniversary since V4 was established, you can be assured that the knowledge and expertise synonyms with V4 is second to none. This summer also brings the launch of our brand-new website, offering an easy user experience, from selecting free samples to choosing your approved V4 retailer. Additionally, V4 trade partners will be able to check stock, place orders and so much more from their very own login. Not only does this make for a simpler and more convenient experience for the end users and retailers alike, but also allows the dedicated V4 sales team to be on hand to answer your calls and queries, providing full support throughout your wood floor purchasing process.
V4 Wood Flooring is primarily sold through an extensive network of retailers across the UK. With over 2,000 trade partners, V4 is dedicated to offering full support to every retailer and contractor.
With the help of their regional sales representatives, offering one-to-one support to V4 trade partners, from the installation of V4 product stands to samples and brochures for customers, to providing assistance with orders, your local V4 sales representative is there to guide you through the process. What’s more, V4 also work closely with many of their suppliers, including Mapei, Rubio Monocoat, and Bona to offer their network of tradespeople training opportunities. From subfloor preparation to bespoke flooring solutions and engineered wood floor maintenance, their training days offer in-depth guidance, allowing you to take your theoretical knowledge and put it into practice, with expert demonstrations in the V4 training centre.
V4’s specification and design team are ready to help you with any commercial enquiry you may have. Whether you need assistance when specifying the perfect hardwood floor for an upcoming project, organising a selection of samples in a V4 Sample Wine Box, or arranging a consultation at V4 World, their Surrey Design Centre for you to meet with clients and discuss design ideas, wants, and need, you can be sure that a member of V4’s expert team will be on hand to help you. V4 also offer a great selection of services, including a Mapei NBS KS1 to ensure that your projects are always on track to be completed in line with British Standards and their RIBA & BIID Accredited CPD.
Not to mention V4’s dedicated technical department who are always there to offer advice and guidance whenever you need it – they do all the technical work so that you don’t have to.
V4 is home to a wide array of engineered wood flooring collections. Ranging from classic and timeless European oak flooring, beautifully finished with a simple brush and oil, or lacquer to contemporary colours and surfaces, perfect for characterful designs, you can be sure to find the perfect hardwood floor for your project with V4. At V4 Wood Flooring, they never spot buy products, meaning that their collections are consistent and well rounded, allowing you to confidently specify V4 Wood Flooring for upcoming retail and commercial projects alike. Later this year V4 have plans to host a new selection of training courses for trade partners including installation and selling of engineered wood flooring, to help make it as easy as possible for you to sell V4’s products with confidence.
With so many benefits to using real wood flooring, V4 Wood Flooring believe it is their responsibility to ensure you can continue to use hardwood sustainably. With this in mind, they have implemented several approaches to create a sustainable practice in construction. Many years ago, V4 decided to stop producing solid wood flooring, and focus solely on engineered. Not only does this offers all the benefits of solid wood but additionally adds versatility, sustainability, and strength with absolutely no compromise on style. One of the largest changes V4 have made in the past year is switching from a 15mm board with a 4mm wear layer, to a 14mm board with a 3mm wear layer. By simply reducing the thickness of European Oak used on the engineered boards V4 can yield an extra 20% from each log, whilst maintaining a high level of structural integrity and durability – meaning choosing V4 Wood Flooring is not only a perfect choice for your design but also the planet.
