Many years ago, V4 decided to stop producing solid wood flooring, and focus solely on engineered. Not only does this offers all the benefits of solid wood but additionally adds versatility, sustainability, and strength with absolutely no compromise on style. One of the largest changes V4 have made in the past year is switching from a 15mm board with a 4mm wear layer, to a 14mm board with a 3mm wear layer. By simply reducing the thickness of European Oak used on the engineered boards V4 can yield an extra 20% from each log, whilst maintaining a high level of structural integrity and durability – meaning choosing V4 Wood Flooring is not only a perfect choice for your design but also the planet.
