The CFA launched the 2022 Guide to Contract Flooring in July and it was distributed with the July issue of CFJ. This is one of the most significant documents in the CFA library, updated, and republished every five years. Apart from British Standards, this is the most significant technical installation document for the flooring industry. It is the only such document that covers the installation of all types of floor coverings (textile, resilient, and timber) in one volume.

Additionally, the Guide to Contract Flooring not only benefits from being based on British Standards, which are quoted wherever relevant, but it also features best practice and innovation that often later appears in the British Standards themselves, which is especially valuable, as these are generally published less frequently.
