Once again FITA (Flooring Industry Training Association) are privileged to be attending The Flooring Show at Harrogate in 2022. A FITA presence at the show has been a staple part of proceedings for over ten years as training consultants deliver two and a half days of live product and tool demonstrations showing best practice installation techniques live from Hall B each day of the show.
The Flooring Show has always been a wonderful place for FITA to display best practice fitting and for Ocean Media to invite FITA and its demonstration back again is fantastic. FITA have always been great supporters of the show and hope to be at future shows for years to come.
The Flooring Show is always a great chance to present to the wider flooring sector an insight at the level of quality and detail that goes into every course we deliver. Once again, we will be highlighting skills and techniques for best practice in a wide range of flooring types by FITA training consultants and NICF master fitters.
Co-founded by the Contract Flooring Association (CFA) and the National Institute of Carpet and Floorlayers (NICF), FITA provides specialist training and demonstrations for the floorcovering industry, and is an independent, not-for-profit organisation – by industry for industry.
FITA is able to deliver these demonstrations thanks to the generous support of its manufacturer sponsors who support the event too. There will also be tons of information to take away from FITA sponsors and exclusive discounts on future FITA courses only available at the show. The FITA demo zone will be up and running from 10.00am each morning of the show with a comprehensive look at best practice fitting techniques for a quality installation.
All demonstrations will be live from our dedicated demonstration stand in Hall B with a schedule including live demonstrations on subfloor preparation, carpet, resilient flooring, and wood flooring products. On Tuesday 20 September, FITA will be offering the opportunity for visitors to come and ask us anything as we open the stand up to bespoke demonstrations of anything covered over the course of the show.
