Home-grown designs from family firm

IN these uncertain times, Marlings says it offers the flooring contractor peace of mind with its in-stock carpet tiles, available for delivery within 24 or 48 hours. ‘These are fast turnaround designs include Burbury & Burbury Stripe, Berkeley Eco, Atria Extra and Terrain, all offered alongside expert advice from the family-run firm,’ says Marlings.

Signature-design Burbury and complementary Burbury Stripe are said to be competitively priced nylon loop carpet tiles.

Says Marlings: ‘Burbury is offered in 24 solid shades – from vibrant Surf and Citrus, to classical Cobalt, while Burbury Stripe, with its distinct accent space dyed stripe, is available in six colourways. All designs are colour-fast, stain resistant and offer the highest cleanability possible. These practical features, along with a tight low-level loop and a Class 33 heavy commercial wear-rating make the designs suitable for all contract applications, including schools, universities, offices and public buildings.’

Said to be made from 100% recycled nylon, Berkeley Eco is a solution-dyed nylon tufted loop pile offered in 17 design options. ‘Alongside solid colours, the range also includes pinstripes and random linear tiles. All designs have a Class 33 heavy commercial wear-rating.’

The company continues: ‘Atria Extra and Terrain present sixteen further options. Atria Extra is a commercially-rated level loop carpet tile offered in ten colours. Options span from vibrant blues and warm reds, to enduringly popular neutral and grey shades. Terrain is inspired by geographical landscapes and textures and is available in six colourways, spanning from Snow Cap to Volcanic. The distinct, patterned tiles have a tufted loop pile construction and a Class 33 heavy traffic wear-rating.’

Marlings’ range of floor finishes and TREADS stair nosings are manufactured from its site at Stanley Mills in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, a place of textile manufacture since 1812.
