SPECIFIERS, says Flowcrete, can get up to speed with the unique qualities of its ‘high performance’ Deckshield system with the launch of a guide to car park deck waterproofing and coatings.
From basements through to external decks, the 28 page brochure takes readers through the different zones of a multi-storey car park, exploring the Flowcrete Deckshield systems for each environment.
Highlights include detailed breakdowns of Deckshield solutions, how the Puma (polyurethane modified methyl methacrylate) formulation enables fast turnround and application in low temperatures, as well as complementary systems which allow for thermal and dynamic building loads.
Insight is given into colour options and an overview of testing and certification standards is also provided, together with a visual guide of a virtual car park environment, to give specifiers a top-line summary of the range of options available.

Flowcrete thinks that every deck is different and, with this in mind, has combined multiple water-proofing and wearing surface systems, as well as movement joints, together into this one specification brochure, to set out the ‘perfect solution’ for any car park.
The brochure also outlines Flowcrete’s customer programme – from initial consultation, site survey, specification, technical and installation support, through to warranty and aftercare.
