MAPEI says its UltraCare range provides a comprehensive suite of high-performance solutions for every aspect of surface maintenance, as well as targeted problem-solvers for more specific cleaning issues.
Products are designed for all types of resilient floors, natural stone and tile finishes and can reportedly be used in all settings, from domestic to industrial environments.
‘Throughout the range, treatments also benefit from individual environmental product declaration (EPD) certification, low VOC EMICODE: EC1 Plus certified formulations and many solutions have CO2e offset in the entire lifecycle,’ says Mapei.
Daily maintenance and deep cleaning
Continues Mapei: ‘For daily maintenance, UltraCare Multicleaner is a versatile and highly concentrated pH-neutral solution that can be used at different dilutions, in a traditional mop and bucket application or an industrial floor-cleaning machine. At a low 1:30 dilution, the cleaner can be used to remove cementitious residues and to deep clean natural stone, while a 1:200 dilution is used for daily non-rinse, streak-free cleaning.
‘UltraCare Multicleaner Spray – the ready-to-use format – offers a convenient alternative in a pump spray bottle, ideal for everyday cleaning of stone surfaces and splashbacks, as well as worktops, glass, mirrors and shower screens.’
For deep cleaning, degreasing and renovating internal and external surfaces, the range includes concentrated detergent, UltraCare HD Cleaner. ‘Ideal for fast removal of organic dirt, including blackspot and algae, it can also remove water-based and metalized waxes and is perfect for degreasing substrates for tile-on-tile installations or preparing floors ahead of screed application.’
Problem-solving solutions
Adds Mapei: ‘Some residues, deposits and stains require a more targeted approach and the UltraCare range also includes a series of treatments designed to tackle specific issues. These include UltraCare Stain Remover – a thick aqueous solution for organic stains; UltraCare Rust Remover – an acid-free treatment that’s safe to use on acid-sensitive tiles and UltraCare Acid Cleaner which removes cementitious residues, as well as rust, limescale and efflorescence from porcelain, ceramic and acid-resistant natural stone.
