At the beginning of January 2024, the CFA welcomed Adam Chapman, the new FITA Training Officer. Adam is responsible for apprenticeship delivery at FITA’s Loughborough training centre and will also look after day-to-day supervision of the training centre, work closely with FITA sponsors and support with standard FITA course delivery alongside other FITA Training Consultants.

Adam joined the team with eight years of domestic fitting experience from all aspects of carpet, vinyl, LVT, solid wood and laminate flooring. Adam commented “I hope to pass on all knowledge and fitting practice to the apprenticeships and to any other delegates that attend FITA courses. I am also looking forward to meeting all sponsors/manufacturers to formally introduce myself”.

Adam will work closely with Shaun Wadsworth the CFA’s Training Manager who was delighted to be able to bring Adam on board, adding “Adam will be an excellent addition to the team at FITA, both in our ambition to increase apprenticeship delivery but also in our drive to offer more to delegates and sponsors by having a constant member of staff on site at Loughborough. Everyone at FITA, the FITA Council and the other training consultants are looking forward to supporting Adam in his new role”.
