Another CFA event has returned to the calendar this year, after postponements due to the pandemic – our Scottish networking lunch, golf competition and dinner. Held for the first time at The Kinross Golf Courses (Kinross, Perthshire), the events were extremely well-supported by members, with over 44 golfers taking part in the competition.

We were delighted to welcome over 50 members for the lunch, which was a great opportunity for colleagues and friends to catch up on industry news and chat all things flooring over soup and a sandwich.

The weather held fair for the golf competition, and whilst golfers are generally prepared for all types of weather, it was nice that the rain held off until the following morning. The event was run concurrently on the Bruce and the Montgomery courses, both of which played well on the day and after completion of their rounds, the golfers enjoyed a hearty meal prior to the prize giving.

The winner of the competition was Lee Jarvis (Floor Safe Solutions Ltd), with Ryan McTaggart (MCD Scotland) in second place and Chris Pickles (Headlam Scotland) third.
