We are delighted to officially announce that CFA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on the morning of Thursday 17th July 2025 with Jo Fautley, Deputy Chief Executive of Build UK, as your Keynote Speaker.

Jo is responsible for the day-to-day management of Build UK and oversees the successful delivery of high-profile projects that are transforming the industry. Jo represents the industry to Government and key stakeholders, including the Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) of which she is a Director.

Jo will be providing an update on the latest Build UK developments, with a particular focus on key challenges impacting specialist contractors. Key topics will include:

• Payment practices and retentions
• Competency & The Building Safety Regime (its relevance to specialists)
• Pre-qualification schemes (PQs) – CFA continues to support the Common Assessment Standard as the best option
